Fix a VAT code on a document line

Where: Document details → journal lines

1. Open the document from the overview.
2. Find the journal line with the incorrect VAT code.
3. Select the VAT code field on that line and choose the correct code from the list.
4. Save or confirm the change before approving the document.

Caution

Changing the VAT code on a document fixes that one document only. If the wrong code keeps appearing, the underlying cause is in the ERP setup — either the default VAT code on the debit account (Denmark/Norway/Finland) is misconfigured, or the supplier’s typical line VAT code is wrong. Fix the root cause in the ERP so future documents capture correctly.
