Re-extract a document
Use Re-extract when a document arrived before a rule change and still has outdated captured values or incorrect routing. Re-extracting pulls the document out of its current flow, re-runs it through the data capture engine with all current rules, and reinserts it as if it had just arrived.
Where: Approval overview, or the Quarantine tab for documents parked there
- Tick the checkbox next to the document (or multiple documents) you want to re-extract.
- Click Re-extract in the action toolbar that appears. The button is visible only to admins, bookkeepers, and consultants.
- Confirm if prompted. The document is sent back through the capture engine immediately and reappears in the flow routed according to current rules.
