Use amount-range conditions in an auto-approval rule

Where: Approval flow → Auto approval → open or create a rule

1. In the WHEN section, set the match mode to All of these conditions.
2. Add a condition: Total amount · is greater than · [lower bound].
3. Add a second condition: Total amount · is less than · [upper bound].
4. Add any other conditions you need (supplier, document type, and so on).
5. Click Save.

Example

A monthly rent invoice is always close to 25 000. Set Total amount is greater than 24 500 AND Total amount is less than 25 500. An invoice at the expected amount auto-approves; an unexpected amount outside that band goes through the normal flow for a human to review.
