Pause a document as an admin
Pausing removes a document from the active Approval overview until an external issue — for example a missing credit note — is resolved. The document keeps its position in the approval flow; it is simply hidden while parked. Admins, bookkeepers, and consultants can pause documents on behalf of users.
Where: Approval overview
- Tick the checkbox of the document to pause (you can select several at once).
- Click Pause in the action toolbar.
- In the Set document on pause dialog, type a reason in the note field — for example Waiting for credit note from supplier or Awaiting clarification.
- Confirm.
