Pause a document as an admin

Pausing removes a document from the active Approval overview until an external issue — for example a missing credit note — is resolved. The document keeps its position in the approval flow; it is simply hidden while parked. Admins, bookkeepers, and consultants can pause documents on behalf of users.

Where: Approval overview

  1. Tick the checkbox of the document to pause (you can select several at once).
  2. Click Pause in the action toolbar.
  3. In the Set document on pause dialog, type a reason in the note field — for example Waiting for credit note from supplier or Awaiting clarification.
  4. Confirm.
