Create a keyword rule

Keyword rules read text on an invoice and apply a value to a document field — for example, finding a project code in the invoice body and setting the Project dimension automatically.

Where: Approval flow → Keywords

  1. Click Add keyword.
  2. Enter the trigger text — the string to look for on the invoice. The match is case-insensitive and looks for the text anywhere on the document.
  3. Select the field to set — for example, Project, Department, Supplier, or a custom dimension.
  4. Enter or select the value to apply when the rule matches.
  5. Click Save.
