Switch the PDF to the other side

Where: Open a document → layout buttons in the PDF toolbar.

1. Click the layout button that swaps the PDF and data panes. The PDF moves to the opposite side.
2. Click again to switch back.

There is no functional difference between the two sides. Choose whichever layout feels more natural for how you work through documents.

Your preference is remembered across sessions.
