Triage the Nordpay payment queue
Where: Nordpay → payment overview
The overview shows the count and total amount for each status at the top of the page. Use the pattern below to identify what needs action.
| Status count | What it signals | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Awaiting approval is high | Payment backlog building up | Schedule a payment session |
| Awaiting second approval > 0 | Waiting on a second authoriser | Contact the second approver and have them sign |
| Payment failed > 0 | One or more payments could not execute | Investigate each failure (common cause: insufficient funds), resolve, re-approve |
| Scheduled > 0 | Payments queued for future dates | No action needed; they will execute automatically |
Payments in Paid, Rejected, and Paid manually are terminal and need no further attention.
