Set the new-supplier creation mode
Configure how Nordflow behaves when an invoice arrives from a supplier that does not yet exist in your ERP.
Where: Integration → Vendor — the new-supplier creation settings are at the top of the page.
- Open Integration → Vendor.
- Find the new-supplier creation setting at the top of the page.
- Select one of the three modes:
| Mode | What happens | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Ask (default) | A yellow warning appears on the document. The reviewer decides whether to create the supplier or reject the document. | Recommended for most clients — every new supplier gets a deliberate human review. |
| Auto-create | The supplier is created in the ERP automatically the moment the invoice arrives. No warning fires. | High-volume clients with reliable data capture who accept that master data may accumulate one-off suppliers. |
| Never create | The invoice stays flagged until someone manually creates the supplier in the ERP and syncs. | Clients with a tightly controlled supplier list or compliance requirements around supplier onboarding. |
- Click Save.
