Onboard a client to Nordpay

Each client must complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) process before Nordpay is activated. The form can be prepared by a consultant or accountant on the client’s behalf, but the contract must be signed by someone with legal signing authority at the client company.

Where: Nordpay → Settings in the left sidebar (only visible if Nordpay is not yet activated for this client).

  1. Select the client’s bank from the dropdown.

  2. The VAT number is filled in automatically from the customer profile — check that it is correct.

  3. Click Start onboarding.

  4. Complete the KYC form. You will be asked:

    QuestionWhat to enter
    Source of fundsWhere the money being paid comes from (e.g. operating revenue)
    Payment destinationsWho the client typically pays (domestic suppliers, international vendors, etc.)
    EU/cross-border paymentsWhether the client makes payments outside their home country
    Typical payment sizeThe usual range of individual transactions
  5. Submit the form.

After submission, a contract is generated for the client’s signatory to sign electronically. See Complete the Nordpay contract signing.
