Set the payment info source for a customer
Control where Nordflow reads bank account numbers and payment references from when processing an invoice.
Where: Customer profile → Accounting, below the Treat-as-paid toggles.
-
Open the Payment info source dropdown.
-
Select the option that fits the customer:
Option Behaviour When to use Vendor only Uses only the supplier master data. Ignores OCR-captured payment info entirely. If the supplier card has no payment details, the payment field is left blank. Master data is rigorously maintained and security is the top priority. Combination Uses master data when it is populated; falls back to the OCR-captured info when master data is blank. Most customers — master data is reasonably good but not always complete. OCR only Uses only the OCR-captured payment info from the document. Master data is ignored. Customer has no supplier module and holds no master data.
Validation always runs, regardless of this setting
Nordflow cross-checks the OCR-captured payment data against master data and raises a warning whenever the two differ — even in Vendor only mode. The Payment info source setting controls what gets used; warnings surface mismatches either way. This means the security difference between Vendor only and Combination is smaller than it appears.
