PDF export vs. Excel export
The Archive offers two export types that serve different purposes.
Excel export gives you the document metadata — amounts, suppliers, dates, account codes — in a structured workbook. Use it for reporting, reconciliation, or any analysis question (“What did we spend in April, broken down by supplier?”).
PDF archive export gives you the original source documents themselves as a zip of PDF files. Use it only when the recipient cannot access Nordflow and needs the raw invoice files — for example, a tax auditor or an offline colleague.
Choosing the right export
| Question you need to answer | Use |
|---|---|
| Spending by supplier, period, or cost center | Excel export |
| Original invoices for an audit or external party | PDF archive export |
| One specific document | Open the document and download the PDF from document details |
If you need both the metadata and the files, run both exports — they are independent and do not interfere with each other.
